I started with a braz/cedar nightingale. I'm ending up with a ABW/bosnian cathedral!

you can't go wrong with a cedar nightingale!

You will have clarity with a Ryan Nightingale, I don't know if I'd say that my Rosewood/Cedar Nightingale has sparkle, but it definitely has clarity. And it has this deep resonance, especially in DADGAD, where it turns into a living wonder.

COOL! 1, 2, 3 in that order. I think the stripes in no. 1 will come out best on the finished guitar!

bevel #1 it is.

NOW, chrome hardware or gold?

I was thinking the chrome hardware would compliment my inlay. It's going to be ebony faceplate with macassar ebay truss rod cover to compliment the rosette and bevel.

here is what the guitar would look like from far away:

but with this inlay:

so gold:

or chrome:

I would go with Gold even though, I dont know why, What would really be cool is an andonized Black, i think Gotoh Calls it Gun Metal. with ebony buttons

yeah My vote is for the black, with the ebony button- that button looks like its also andonized black. but I would prefer the ebony button that you can get from Gotoh. Just would change it up and would look nicer on the ebony Headplate veneer. You know how it is

Heres a pick the 4th one which is Gold and Ebony you can see the difference on the tuner button from the first one and the second one.

One more vote for Chrome w/ Ebony buttons

I have Gold on mine but one of these days want to order
some "R" logo chrome replacements from Kevin.
