I really like Gibson Masterbuilts on my J45 (tried maybe 7 others and keep coming back to these.)

They are no longer available at the Gibson site. I fear they may be out of production and when they're gone, they're gone.

Gibson has come out with a new coated string used on "all guitars built in Bozeman".

I hope I'm wrong.

I've only recently started to use 80/20s on a couple of my guitars, so take this for what it's worth. I just discovered that my rosewood backed SJ200 sounds really good with Martin Authentic Acoustic MA140 in Custom Light gauge. The coated Martin Lifespan, in light gauge, have been great on the Hummingbird. So in my limited experience with 80/20s I prefer Martin MA140 and their coated MA140T strings. I tried a couple other brands of 80/20s, Gibson Masterbuilt and D'Addario's, but the Martins work best for these two guitars.

I use Rotosound strings. They offer both PB and 80/20.

Never heard of this brand. Googled, read descriptions - a pricey version of 80/20 uncoated, more expensive than Newtone and Curt Mangan.

Thanx for the tip.

A few bucks is not gonna kill me. Best 80/20’s I’ve tried on my FB.
