Oh myyyyyyyyyyy. My eyes lit up and I smiled. Planes! Army tanks! Semi's and cars.

Great use of your basement! How fun is that? That was fun to see.

I agree! The moisture would ruin them. Tim has different areas of the wood shop where he has non-guitar projects. At Christmas time I tend to over take a little more of his area where we can make gifts. I lose my favorite area when cold weather takes over so I do have to invade guitar space. Tim is kind enough to tweak a little more of it, but he is thankful when spring and summer returns. He likes AC in the shop. I prefer the heat or natural warm weather.

In addition to the comfort factor,he wants the AC to provide a stable humidity level for the raw wood.

Ohhhhhhhhh... trust me. Our wood has a special room all to itself and neither of us mess with that humidity and heat. We are strict to baby it even when guests stop in.

The kit was missing the dash board and steering column,so I made a dash out of .80 styrene and the column from brass tubing. The column connects to the Tie rod so the wheel turns when you move the front wheels.

One of our granddaughters loved to come to our house and play w/the Lego we had there for all the kids. It's encouraging to me, in this video age, to see so many young 'uns getting into them...

I was a Lincoln Log man, myself...

Sorry, I wasn't ignoring you. We took a trip to Traverse City and Petoskey, Michigan. I saw yachts. We have never been there.

Great pictures. So much detail.

We have Lincoln logs, too. A few years ago I designed a Lincoln log type shelf for our son's house. I loved it.
