Well, 72 hrs has gone by and I haven't picked up the phone yet to order a PWGC.

I think I've got this GAS thing beaten!

For a player who is U.K.-based, all this chat about The Pre War Guitar Co. Instruments is very frustrating. I haven’t played one, simply because there aren’t any over here. Having read just about everything I can about them, I reckon I would love an OM and perhaps even a D. Despite searching the sales ads, nothing has become available.
I hope it all changes soon as US sellers are understandably reluctant to ship to the U.K.

Don't take it so hard. I'm USA based, very interested in these guitars, and have yet to see one in person. That included a guitar shopping trip to Nashville, where there were none to be found. There just aren't many of them out there.

Oh. Pre War Guitar Company, not made before war time. Got it. Thanks for clearing that up for this newbie. So much to learn...

Don't feel bad - there has been much confusion over that name in the past, and I suspect there will be more in the future.

Oooh...I keep thinking a Pre*War 000 would be my last guitar.

Lucky you, Brendan!
