Atkin LG47 demo - Amazing Grace
I threatened to do a demo of my Atkin Forty Seven (LG47) a while ago. I know we've seen this tune a few times but hopefully there's a reason for that and I wanted to keep it simple.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ToeulrvPItE Apogee mic straight into iPhone, no processing at all. Strings are Elixir PB 12s, they are 2 months old and pretty shot! (Dan C Holloway arrangement.)

Sounds wonderful and lovely playing!
How ya getting on with the skinny neck? I'm struggling with it on my J43 but it's sounds so good!

Hi, thanks. Yes I would prefer a 1.75" nut, but the neck plays so well I get on fine with it. I do however find the string spacing a bit tighter for the picking hand, but again it's not really a problem.
I won't disagree though, wider string spacing would make it the perfect guitar, but I've barely played my 000-18 in the two months I've owned it.
