Default iDrum Experience?

It would be great to have a drum machine that plugs into Pro Tools where I can create easy but great sounding drums with fills that can back a full band recording. I usually record acoustic, but with a great drum machine I would be able to up my recordings to full band. Does anyone have experience with iDrum?

I haven't tried iDrum, but I have used FLStudio as well as Beatcraft. Both work very well for that purpose and are pretty simple to use. Plus they can be used as an insert program or as a stand alone in which you can mix your final result down to a stereo file, or mix each track down to be mixed later (for better results, imo). iDrum may do the same thing. You can probably get free demos of each to try out from their websites.

Good luck.
