Regrettably, I take it by the powder washed down with a gulp of water. Capsules are too large for me. Plus I buy a pound of it for about 16 bucks in bulk. I just have to remember to brush my teeth before my children visit.

It's a music forum, so this is my musical vent.

I'm a cover-tune player since the early 70s. When I place a Craigslist ad looking for another singing guitarist like me to perform acoustic classic rock standards in open mic venues, I'm pretty specific about the styles, artists and tunes I hope to cover. Some are fairly intricate, not just 3-chord strummers. Of course, I'm happy to learn new (to me) songs. That's a really fun part of the guitar playing advanture.

But it's annoying when all the responses are from:
- People who don't sing
- People who can't play
- Keyboards, saxaphone, drums, full electric band
- Devotees of hair metal, hip-hop, bubblegum pop
- Etc., etc., etc.

Why do they bother? "Maybe he won't even notice or care that I don't/can't/won't sing or play ANYTHING he likes!"

I could go on and on, but....

I have decided sadness and bitterness is negative energy.

So, from now on I'm going to try and be positive, and happy.

Plenty of people are negative. I don't want to add to that.

Sorry for spoiling your party.

Don’t be silly. RP has “vented” with totally positive vibes and so can you. The merrier the merrier, so to speak.

Cheers…really.

I got my amateur radio license earlier this year but it turns out, you have to buy a radio to use it!! and then, you have to talk to people!!

Hardly seems worth it...

It's getting harder and harder to vent.

Someone will get "offended" and you'll be cancelled.

I still do it, though.

Default Dirk about hoses

My wife kept buying those green "As seen on TV" hoses at discount stores. The ends never lasted more than a month. Some blew right out of the box.

We started buying the black expandable hoses with brass fitting. One final blew after 2 1/2 years. My wife waters a plants all around our property every day, over 100 planters plus in ground stuff. She's rough on them dragging them over sidewalk and driveway and around corners. We use a 100' hose that we picked up on Amazon. They cost more up front but are cheaper in the long run. Several brands worked, not sure which ones. She orders them. We have 3 now. Good luck.

Why don't they make brooms like they used to?
I've had the same broom now for over 50 years and only ever changed the head 3 times and the handle twice.

Being on hold for 25 minutes and hearing "your call is very important to us" 50 times.

Is still better than having your telephone shut off for non-payment. Yes, there are some things in this life that ruffle our feathers; but at times like those, I try to feel appreciative for just having those feathers...

This just happened again Sat nite so this is a good time to vent.

I will never understand bar owners and bar managers. You hired a band. You agreed to pay $$ for the band. You know what night they are playing. Why is it so hard to have the money to pay them when they are done? The number of times we have broke down, everything loaded up, and we are all sitting around waiting for the manager to contact the owner about paying us. Eventually here they come with the cash. It's just so dumb. End of rant.

I don't even know why we do this any more

the money for a full band is an insult.
