Martin 000-18 Golden Era 1937 - Sunburst *SOLD*
For sale is an excellent condition Martin 000-18 Golden Era 1937 in a sunburst finish. The guitar was built in 2012 and I purchased it new from Elderly in 2014. The setup on it is perfect. I actually had it out to Brothers Music in January and they looked everything over and gave it a perfect bill of health. There is still plenty of saddle left for future adjustments. The bridge was slotted by Brothers Music shortly after I got it and it has non-slotted pins in it now.

There is that small scratch on the neck and then a small indentation in the top towards the bottom. There are also a few finish whisker cracks on the corners of the bridge which is pretty normal for guitars built in this time frame. Other than that it's in great shape. Like all dark finishes, you see some swirl marks in the finish depending on the light angle which is just from clothing rubbing against the guitar. I think it's impossible to have a sunburst guitar and not have those finish swirl marks visible. Included with the guitar is the original Martin 500 series case. The price for the guitar is $2325 + shipping. Local pickup also could be arranged in a reasonable distance around Northern New Jersey. Please let me know if you have any questions.

I have played this guitar and it is hands down my favorite of the 6 or so that I’ve run across over the years. Perhaps I didn’t notice the very modest flaws that Chris disclosed, because it’s a beautiful looking guitar with a spot on setup and easy playability.
