Default You're Still There--original

Been knocking this one around for a while. The subject matter made it so that I just wanted to get it out and not obsess over details, so I went sort of deliberately lo-fi. Comments and suggestions welcome and appreciated, as always.

Good stuff. I'd like to be this creative. When I get an electric guitar in my hands I'm suddenly lost.

Good song! I like the dynamic of the the pause before the ....me and you...then back into the somewhat ominous chording. Works well.
As for the "low fi" production...one man's low fi is another's just right.
Just right by me!

Well done, Sombras! Nice chops on the electric, too. I enjoyed listening.

Thanks and appreciation to those who listened to the first version of this song. I found I couldn't listen to it without regretting my electric playing, so I went back and re-recorded it. The first time around I wanted a really stripped down single-coil vibe, but it just didn't work. This one's better--still really hard for me to get the right feel.

Excellent, enjoyed it very much. I found it to be Clapton-esque, both the vocal and instrumental.
