My Eastman has arrived!!
Yeah got my Eastman E20D but i have a concern-the ebony bridge is kinda discolored-looks like the co. failed to color it completely black and there's some unevenness in applying the finish below the bridge. Any thoughts??? in the meantime i'm really pleased with the sound-a real 'boomer' indeed for sure.

Your E20D should have an ebony bridge, but I don't believe all Eastman acoustics currently have ebony bridges. From the specs I have read, all the higher-end Eastman models have ebony fingerboards, but some have bridges that are dyed rosewood. This is true of my Eastman AC508M.
For instance, while the E20D and the E10D should be ebony, the E8D and the E6D have a dyed rosewood bridge.

Congrats! I wouldn't be concerned about the streaking (if that's what it is) in the bridge. Can you post pics?
