Very, very nice.....one of my top 5 singer songwriters of all time.
While he is a household name for the most part, I still don't think he's ever received the full recognition he should have - a true American icon. A little trivia - Val Mccollum is the son of David Mccollum - Ducky of NCIS fame and Illya Kuryakin from Man From U.N.C.L.E.

Sounds a lot like most of his ballads. It’s nice.
Nothing wrong with that but for me, “been there heard that.”

Love it! Thank you for sharing.
I'm glad Jackson is still writing and touring and supporting social issues as he has for almost 5 decades. Anyone recognize his guitar? Is that a McAlister?

Brief shot of the headstock looked "Collings-like," but I know nothing of his gear (except that he has oodles of guitars!).

We wore that album out my freshman year of college. This video brought back a lot of great memories. Very fun to hear what two guitarists can do. The accompaniment sounded full and great. Thanks for posting!

Love it! Anything stripped down get's me.
He lives near me. I also shared his luthier Sam Sanchez in LA. His once annual concerts at the Santa Barbara Bowl were special. He's a real pro, IMHO. |

Thanks much for posting! As far as I'm concerned, he is up there with the very best, if not tops with most all his work in my life time. Absolutely fantastic unforgettable lyrics and music.
