Just goes to prove what we say in golf, it’s the Indian, not the arrow.

Mmhmm...I believe Toby could make a string on a broom sound like a fantastic guitar. Maybe when shopping for a new guitar it would best not to take a player like Toby: ANY of them would sound great.

I found one for $3.00, used, mostly unstrung, dirty and dusty at a 2nd hand store a year or two ago. I picked it up and found that, with the few strings it had, it was actually playable.

I had my eye out at the time for some sort of guitar I could take on my motorcycle camping and touring trips. I always missed playing/practicing when I was on the road. There's no way I would risk even a decent travel guitar being exposed to those conditions.

So I bought it, cleaned it up, put on a set of EJ-16's that I took off of one of my "big" guitars when I changed strings, and Boosh...I gots meself a biker gee-tar.

It hasn't been on the road yet since I was too busy to make a small waterproof cover for it, but I expect it to hit the dusty trail with me this year.

Here's mine.

Not fair to record an instrument like that which is beyond the reach of most of us and start inducing GAS. Geez Toby!
