Kriso,
I had the same issue with a new guitar. I'm lucky to be near Michael Bashkin's shop and asked him to look at it. He filled the hi e nut slot and recut it about .010-.015 (about 1/64) further inboard and the issue completely disappeared. It was an easy and inexpensive fix.

I agree. It ain't no biggie. A good tech can do just what he described for little of nothing. If you can get the retailer to take care of it, all the better.
As an aside, if it were my guitar and I loved it, I would take it to my guy and have him put a new nut on it.

I’m going to reach out to the shop I ordered it from to see how they can fix it. It’s not a local shop so a drop off is not possible.

That nut looks wonky to me. Here's a thought: it looks like the nut could be slid a hair to the left, which would bring your high E string further from the edge. Might be a cheap and easy fix. But a new nut is hardly a big expense.

Just slacken the strings off, then knock the nut 1/32" towards the low E string, tune guitar up, and happy playing.

I had the same problem two weeks ago with a Martin 000RSG just purchased at Guitar Center. The high E was so close to the edge of the fretboard that it was always slipping off when played. I decided to return. the guitar. In your case, I would also suggest to have the dealer pay for a new nut or have the guitar replaced

Agree that the spacing is off. Besides the high "e" being too close to the edge, the spaces are neither equal centerline to centerline, nor proportional (equal clear space between strings.) Easily verified by using calipers.

Emailed the dealer today and he covered the cost of having the luthier that I use install a new one. He does great work so it all worked out.
