RIP Peter Scolari (Newhart)
Peter Scolari passed away today at the age of 66. Cancer. He played in numerous tv shows but I remember him from Newhart. He played Michael Harris, the tv producer and Stephanie's boyfriend. He did a fantastic job on that show.
RIP Peter. Still too young.

We love Newhart, bought the box set of DVDs and even reserved a room at that inn. So sad...

I heard of the show but never saw it. I didn't even know Peter was in that show until I read about it a couple of days ago. I don't recognize him. The other guy looks like Tom Hanks in a wig

He also had a very nice role in Hank’s That Thing You Do. Fine movie and fine actor.
I hate getting older….

Bosom Buddies was a good show for the time, really a star vehicle for Hanks, who put it to great use. Scolari did well also. That show also featured the absolutely incredible Donna Dixon.
  Sorry to hear he passed at a relatively young age. Cancer sucks.

The fourth person in the photo above, Wendie Jo Sperber, also passed early of cancer, back in the 2000's. And Donna Dixon married Dan Ackroyd.
