Default Been getting lots of laughs lately....

regarding asking prices on instruments I see listed (everywhere)....this one may take the cake.

I had a mint C-72 presentation Braz C-10 and it sold for exactly 19,800 less than what they are asking for this one!

B-but it's been appraised by a "world-renowned appraiser of guitars" at $23,088!

It's a deal!

Default Guitar or Art?

What makes a guitar a piece of art versus a guitar? This seems like art versus an instrument that you will take out of its case and play it like a guitar. I can see keeping it in a glass case protected from all guitar players forever.

This guy may be somewhat ahead of the curve but, for a variety of reasons old and new, my gut tells me in short order the price of Brazilian anything is going to go through. the. stratosphere. ...

There may be some who will pay outrageous prices just because its made with brazillian, but hopefully most players will judge a guitar by more important standards. The materials will add to the price, but at some point, the builder, the quality of the work, and the tonal quality and response of the instrument will have to be worthy as well -
