Default Spontaneous session with the great Ian Melrose

A spontaneous session with the great Ian Melrose. I asked him after his concert on our small stage if he would like to play my conposition "Prelude to a tree" with me. "Sure", he replied and grabbed his low whistle and I took his guitar. So here is our improvisation.

Oh yeah, he never heard the song before. What a great musician! Here is the audio (with some nice pics)

Spontaneous duo. What fun. Somehow Irish sounding music.

That is a beautiful piece, Roland! And how cool that Ian was willing to collaborate with you!

Lovely sounds in there! You did a beautiful job on someone else's guitar! He did a great job on that low whistle!

Thanks Glenn, yeah Ian is a very sweet person and a great musician. His Avalon guitar felt very similar to my Mcilroy and was a joy to play!
