That's what I heard about him as well. I have a few photographer friends in the area that had the fortune to meet him in person or learn from him.

Here is a picture I took yesterday after the massive storm south of Yosemite. The light was incredible once the sun came out and the leaves were exploding with fall colors.

Took this one this morning while hiking along the upper Arkansas. It is an old apricot tree. How it came to be here is a mystery, amongst the cottonwoods and scrub oak.

Last year, it was absolutely loaded with fruit. This year, not a single one.

Watering down the berms in the California drought! This is a trail system my buddy built on his property. Conditions have been epic since the storm last week though, hoses should be out of service for a while anyway, more rain on the way.

Found a few green tomatoes on the vine yesterday, breaking down the garden at season's end.

This one was taken earlier, at the beginning of the cycle.
