Yeah, the guitar dive bombs with the strap on there! Don't like!

I tried the old 'Martin Headstock Guitar Strap Tie' I bought years ago - works great on the headstock - better than a shoelace!

I’ve gigged mine a couple times with zero issues. Seems more of a preference thing than an issue. If you use a strap with some suede/grip to it, it just sticks where it should and stays there in my experience.

I went old school and attached the strap to the headstock. Problem solved. But I’m still no fan of wearing a strap while playing seated just because the finish is slippery. Hoping I’ll get used to it. First world problem for sure...
