NGD - Córdoba Cadete
Due to some pretty bad arthritis in both my hands, I haven’t played much guitar for at least a couple of years now. I really was missing it so I thought I’d try a small, short scale nylon string. Studied up a bit & decided on the Cadete. What a great little guitar. Still need to toughen up the callouses, but already played longer in one sitting than I have in a long time. It’s good to be back playing!

That is fantastic, congratulations. I am itching for a smaller bodied nylon string guitar. The Cordoba Cadette and the Requinto are in the running. I am glad you like it and once you spent more time with it please give us an update.
Enjoy your new guitar and your new found ability to make music again. Well done

Congrats! When I was in my nylon stage I considered a Cadete, ended up with Córdoba 7/8 size (forget the model). Very nice guitars!

Really enjoy my Cadete, very similar in size to a Blueridge parlor but can play twice as long.
The neck size is juuuuuust right; plenty of room but no crazy finger stretches. If you don't dig in too hard normal tension strings work well.

I’ve been playing almost every day. Really enjoying this guitar. My technique has really suffered from not playing for so long, plus the darned arthritis, but still having fun.

I have the same problem with arthritis in both hands, and migrated to ukuleles for a while, but I missed the rich full sound of a guitar. After reading all the reviews, I decided on a 3/4 size Kremona S58C. It arrived Thursday, and I have been playing it every day.
The Kremona has a solid cedar top and sapala laminated sides and back. What I really like is the shorter scale combined with a 48mm finger board width at the nut. Most short scale guitars come with finger boards that I think are too narrow. The sound is way better than I expected, and it only cost $229.00 including shipping. I purchased mine online from Musician's Friend where it was listed as an open box item. It looks perfect to my old eyes, and the action is spot on. The only improvement I think would improve the sound is to change to slightly stiffer strings. La Bella makes string sets for fractional size guitars, and I have a set on the way. After playing it for 2 days, I sold my Pavan TP-20 full sized guitar to a local shop, and I am a happy camper.

Classicals bring a different palet to the table -a very good one .
