I'm a metal fabricator. Here's an action photo of me at work.

I sell farms and country property, a small specialist real estate firm (Vinyard's Choice). And I try to rehab and flip one home per year for extra income.

Software Engineering manager, focusing on the Cloud/DevOps space. Specifically I manage the cloud infrastructure that powers the Xfinity X1 DVR's On-Screen Guide.

My professional music career was very short-lived.
What kind of financial planner would fail to file a schedule C for that "business" and besides writing off the $0.25, started depreciating that Collings?

I recently graduated in quantity surveying as a mature student. I guess the closest American equivalent is cost control engineer.

Covid has destroyed the construction market in the UK so I went full-time in my student job, a community alarms advisor. Community alarms is a system where elderly or vulnerable people press an alarm in their home and I dispatch the appropriate help. I’ve been doing this for over five years so hoping construction will recover and I can start a more challenging position.

Doc, that's a neat/clean shop! Your profession has been my new hobby since retiring three years ago. Teaching myself with MIG and oxy rigs to make art, small stuff so far. Complimentary friends say I should make a new career out of it and sell my things. I think I'll just do it for fun instead.

It's a beautiful shop, clean, organized and well lit. I've been in the trade since '75 and still enjoy the work. Have fun with your new hobby.

Retired for three years now. Formerly in customer service and quality control for Prince Manufacturing (tennis equipment maker), then worked as a tech writer for a bank holding company, and finally gained neither fame nor fortune as a failed novelist. Anyone want 2.5 completed novel manuscripts to use as kindling in the coming winter months?

Retired television documentary producer, now reduced to making narcissistic videos of myself playing the guitar...

Freshly retired (just in time) after 37 years as an elementary school teacher. Also a luthier, tech, and cabinetmaker on the side.

Retired 2.5 years. Prior to that, I was in the logistics/transportation/global supply chain profession for decades. Our job was to keep factories on several continents full of raw materials and empty them of finished products.
