Default If you need a lift from all of the heavy news... check out “Marvellous”(BBC)

This was a wonderful break from all of the depressing news of the world. We just watched a great ‘docudramedy’from the BBC (available on Acorn\Amazon Prime) entitled ‘Marvellous’.

It’s the true story of a marginally disabled man, Neil Baldwin, who despite his disability, had a wonderful gift of making people laugh and love. Sometimes a disability merely obscures your true ability.

PS - the trailer will give you a good idea of the film’s tone and character

I’ll give it a try. This sounds like the kind of program we have been watching in recent months.

Toby Jones, who plays Baldwin, is a fantastic actor.

If you haven't seen it already, check out Detectorists. A heartwarming comedy drama serial starring Jones and Mackenzie Crook.

Looks good. I’ve got a subscription to Acorn & BritBox. I’ll put it on my watchlist. Thanks.
