Bill Asher Acoustics
Bill Asher is widely known for his fantastic electrics. He has made some acoustics as well. Can anyone weigh in their experience with his acoustic guitars?

Well, I was a fan of his mom! Does that count?

Yes. Helpful. Now... anyone know anything about Asher acoustics?

I would also like to hear about any experiences with these. Evidently he specializes in electrics & Hawaiian laptops, & only makes acoustics when asked. So there's only a handful out there. Here's one available on Reverb; I e-mailed with the owner & he's not in a hurry to let it go.

The koa wood and rope binding is commonly used on Weissenborne guitars, but it works great on that flat top.

Hello,
I have not played one. Fretboard Journal issue #30, published in 2013, has an article about Asher and his guitars though. If you don’t have access to it let me know and I can photograph the pages and message them to you.
