Default The most interesting NGD I've ever had

My day started off with almost getting trampled by a cow. To say it was a near death experience would be dramatic so I'll call it a near serious injury with a very miniscule chance of death experience.
A few hours later, I was cutting fire wood in the woods behind my house when I get a call from my wife. The UPS driver had slid off a small hill alongside our driveway and was stuck.
By the time I got there with the backhoe a friendly neighbor who happened to be driving by was already trying to pull him out of the ditch with his truck. For a second it looked like the UPS truck was going to tip over but it made it out ok.
It was a day of close calls but my Waterloo wl-14l made it here safe and sound.
I couldn't be happier with the guitar but what a crazy day.
I'm working on figuring out how to post pictures so hopefully they'll be coming soon.

Default Wow!

Ben, that day was 20 lbs. of crazy in a 10 lb. bag. I'm glad your Waterloo arrived safely.

Whenever you sign in to General Guitar Discussion, there is a sticky note on how to post photos. Many members like imgur.com to host their photos.

Ben, congratulations on the Waterloo... very sweet guitars!

Here's the link for how to post pictures. PM me if you have any trouble. Can't help you with the cow though...

A wonderful Christmas story! Firewood, a cow, a new 'gift' arriving!
Congratulations!
Did they keep the Waterloo you have sent them? Or, you received both guitars today, old and new?

Snow? As a fellow Hoosier all I can say is you must be in the northern half, because down here we've only had a sprinkling. But more importantly how's the new guitar sound?

Would you please buy a new guitar at least once a month? It is postings like these, few and far between, that really get me through a morning.

Oh, and congratulations. Seems like that new guitar deserves a nickname.

I am from Indiana and have had a few encounters with cows, so congrats for squeaking through that mostly unscathed. And, of course, congrats on the new Waterloo! So glad to hear that both your cow story and your NGD story have happy endings! Time to write a cow song!!

Best,
Jayne
