Default NGD 2018 000-28EC

By far the coolest guitar i have ever owned or even played for that matter. I picked it up from Jon at My Favorite Guitar in Surprise, AZ. He gave me a super deal on it and i got it super fast. He is a forum sponsor and he was a pleasure to deal with. Extremely knowledgeable and honest to boot. I highly recommend him!

This guitar is very comfortable to play and the tone is wonderful. I find the modified V neck very comfortable. I wasn’t sure about the gloss finish on the neck but it isn’t a problem at all. Plus, this guitar is gorgeous. I got a new favorite...

I bought an EC from Jon a couple years ago that has become my #1.
Great dealer to work with and a fine guitar to boot.
Enjoy!

Wow, I love that back! Jon at MFG is wonderful, I've bought several guitars from him before too, he'll give you a great deal and is very helpful. Enjoy your new EC!

Just like Blueser100 said above, I owned one a long time ago.

And let me echo your praise of Jon at MFG...
he's a top shelf guy for sure!

Congrats! The 000-28EC is a great guitar. I've owned two of them over the years and both were great. I love that back wood - it almost has a sapwood or heartwood look to it like you see a lot in cocobolo. You don't see it much in EIR.

I love sapwood, so of course I love the back too. Looks great, congrats!

Thanks everyone. Today i lowered the action, it was 2.50 @the 12th fret which I thought was really much too high. I set it to 1.75 and it is much better now. I also put on new strings. I picked up a pack of Martin Authentic Phosphor Bronze 12’s. Really strange when i put them on. They felt like they were much higher tension than the factory strings and not very loud. But after playing them for about an hour the tone settled in beautifully and the guitar sounds really well balanced. I have never had this happen with strings before. Was I imagining this?
