Default Cordoba C5 - Cedar or Spruce?

I'm leaning towards the cedar, but some say spruce has a more pronounced bass response? What do you think? I'm a steel string player looking for that smooth nylon tone for certain pieces.

Default Cedar or spruce

If you’re looking for a sweet sound go with the cedar. Spruce is a little brassy by comparison.

I have a C-10 Spruce and a C-10 Cedar. Both are beautiful. I lean slightly toward the Spruce because I am partial to bass and the Spruce has a little more. I also have read only good things about the C-5 and I think you will be happy with either one.

I used to think I like Spruce over Cedar, but my C5 Cedar proved me wrong.
