Default Age gap and future of AGF

Sorry, I just thought of something that just tickled my mind.

Most of you guys are around the same age era. There's significantly more oldies than youngens. What happens if it comes to the time that you all abruptly leave the Earth realm in a couple years apart? How will AGF survive?

I was telling my daughter about some of the forums that I'm on and she said that forums are an old people thing. I guess that a lot of young people don't do them anymore. She should know, her job title is multi media producer. I think about that as far as the life of them. Several that I belong to are just sort of abandoned. There are no moderators, no one maintaining them, they are getting spammed. I like forums and I hate to see them go that way. This is one of the few vBulletin ones that I'm on that appears to still be maintained.

I've been an AGF member for 14 years and have no plan to leave, but when I'm lying on my death bed, I'll be thinking about what's ahead for me, not AGF. And BTW, my stuff is already promised....

This style of communication is like the vinyl record.

I'm 32, I have no plans on leaving. I wish the forums for my other hobbies were as good as this one.

Like everything thing in this world. The world moves on and somebody moves in. It happens all the time in jobs and marriages.

Well isn't that a pleasant thought, thanks....

Too funny. This is definitely analog, but occasionally there's a spark of digital.

No younguns are on Facebook anymore either. Reddit still seems pretty popular but since I'm on there, it's probably in decline, coolness wise...

I’ll be 54 Sunday and I don’t plan on leaving AGF in the next 20 years or so.

I like forums, prefer them to Facebook.
I don't do any of the other mediums.
I remember AOL chatrooms. I miss that.
