Very nice!

One of my favorite Celtic players does a version of that also (Stephen Wake). Too fast for my old fat fingers,

Thanks Barry, yeah Stefan is a great player. Maybe you like to play it with a pick?

If I started up flat picking again, my wife would shoot me.

Nice playing. A guitar does sound different when all the notes are high. I have one dropped D tune that I capo on the seventh that results in a Celtic Harp like sound. A pleasant change.

Don’t worry Barry, we all have to go one day. What better way than shot with your favorite guitar in your arms! 😂

Thanks Derek, regarding Celtic harp sound the Yamaha Guitalele is the most underestimated instrument ever. That is really the closest I have come to a warm harp sound. They go for next to nothing on EBay.

Beautifully played as always Farhad - so little string noise, I don’t know how you do it ;-)

Wow. I loved the hammers, pull offs, and the many song structure changes throughout. Inspired head nodding and foot tapping - very fast foot tapping!

All it needed was guys chasing you on motorcycles (OK, that was an old A-Ha reference).

Truly enjoyed it and was quite impressed.

Cheers,

Dave

YES, the A-Ha reference. I am glad you saw it Dave. It was unintentional but you can do so much with just basic video editing programs nowadays. Glad you liked it!

Thanks man. This song is mostly played on non-wound strings so it is easier in that sense. In general I try to lift my fingers though as much as possible. If you look at a for example Andy McKee or Thomas Leeb, you see that they do the same thing just for avoiding string noise. String noise is quite annoying when mixing a song as it can be hard to normalize it. Cheers and thanks ☺️.

It is a big challenge for sure - I always try and lift, but it just persists in some songs..keep working on it :-)
