Default Entangled, by Genesis 1976

Genesis, an English rock band, released "Trick of the Tail" album in 1976.
The second track from this album - "Entangled".

"Entangled" originated from a piece by Steve Hackett that Tony Banks particularly liked and went on to write the chorus and closing synthesizer solo. Hackett also wrote the lyrics which Phil Collins thought had a Mary Poppins feel to them.

This song is dedicated to all music lovers of this world, peace and love to all peoples!!!

Yes, now Genesis. You rock man! "You'll catch your Breath as the Nurse will present you the Bill!"

One of my favorites. Do you do "Blood on the Rooftops?"

Hi M19,
I just had a listen to the "Blood on the Rooftops.
This song is probably above my pay grade.
Very very lovely song, and need to be sung with full conviction, and be totally lost in the song. The guitar work is truly of high caliber, classical and totally pop at the same time - truly a work of genius!!!
Thank you for your very humbling and inspiring song request!!!
I love it!
Respectfully,
Rene

Another nice one Rene. Excellent playing and vocals. You have the ability to choose great songs that fit your style.

On a side note, Daryl Stuermer, who replaced Steve Hackett as lead guitarist for Phil Collins was a neighbor when I lived in the Milwaukee area.

Be well, Mike

Hi Mike,
That is very cool, neighbor with Phil Collins' lead guitarist!!!
Did you ever had the chance to play guitar with Daryl?
Or have a few tips from the legend?
Thanks for this great info!
Respectfully,
Rene

Hi Rene,

It's a nice one! Your singing rocks as always, and I like those bendings in the instumental parts a lot.
Good job,

jepper

Hi jepper,
Always a pure pleasure to hear from you!!!
Thank you for noticing the minute bending on the adlibs, I love 'em as well.
This song is a challenging tune for me, as the chords are not really traditional, and so I made them up myself, and they work for me.
Thank you again, for your wonderful comments!
Rene
