Memories of the Tape 'n' Tab Club (T'n'T)
During the late 70's and early 80's I ran a club for fingerstyle guitarists from across the UK who met in Runcorn, Cheshire a few times each year for a long weekend and they shared times of guitar playing, drinking, sociability and sharing of arrangements and compositions in tablature format. Sunday mornings tended to be given over to recording of material performed on the other days.
I have recently started to build a YouTube Channel based around the cassettes of the material recorded either at the meeting sessions or provided by those who could not attend. These tapes have been split into individual tracks and uploaded with still photos. The audio quality does vary rather a lot but should provide an insight into those times together. Enjoy !!
