Currently, I'm finding that it does neither, but I see that my wife bought and refrigerated some hefeweizen though.

Yes, waiting hurts. The longer you wait, the more you hurt. Sometimes people wait until they are bent over and incapacitated. I've heard that Hefeweizen actually accentuates the misery. Just helping here, letting you know that the malady is common. Hope this helps.

Default The waiting is the hardest part

The wait is well worth it. I purchased a three month old X20 and avoided the wait but I couldn’t be happier with the guitar. Emerald creates beautiful instruments.

Nooooooooooooo!!! I'm gonna hug my bottles now.
As I get closer to the target date, it seems like time is really slowing down. There's no doubt in my mind that Emeralds are worth the wait, but that just makes it hurt a bit more.

At this point, I'm resigned to it. It's been a whole 18 days since I placed my order, and the end of September appears no closer. At least I face a busy month at work, followed by a week's vacation, so much to distract between now and mid-August.

One day at a time, one day at a time.

Ok, ok. This provides some scant relief. No apologies for the size. Bask in its carbon-fibre amberness.

I too have one coming, a thin-bodied, electric, nylon strung X10-OSN. But I take great consolation in the fact that I already have a great RS and two great Emeralds. Surrounding yourself with great CF guitars is about the only way to pacify yourself through the long wait.

Is that for the upcoming NGD celebration (and you have to wait for the beer ) OR something to keep you occupied while you wait?

Is it just me? I am picturing you crossing off each day on the calendar, like a scene from an old prison movie?

As our buddy Evan relates: the wait is easier when you have an Emerald (or two) to keep you entertained. As I continue to umm... mature, waiting for a two-day delivery from Amazon Prime gets me all antsy. Yeah, you better have one of those hefeweizen brews to calm your nerves.

Maybe we can consider this thread "a support group"?

Lol - if you're only 18 days in and losing it already, I pray that you don't get any delays! At least I didn't start to lose my mind until mine was a full 45 days OVERDUE from the promise date! Actually, I was really just a little annoyed at that point. It was when it got lost in shipping that I lost my mind!

(We're really not helping here, are we?)

If it's any help to you, I'm actually considering doing it again!!
