Cool Which Cube is the one for most situations?

Roland Micro, Mobile or Street Cube?
I guess it'll be the Street Cube.
What's your experience with these?

Few pictures for size comparison:

I owned, and loved, the Street Cube for a few years. I used my Street Cube for a few small gigs like coffee shops and small outdoor weddings. It works fine for that.

Bypass all the guesswork and get a Cube EX with the dual 8" drivers and 2" tweeters. I bought mine a couple of years ago and love it. It's plenty beefy to use for a decent PA without the need to carry a bunch of equipment.

Here's a pretty good hands-on review of the Cube series amps that might be considered for busking:

Never heard the EX personally yet.
The EX is too pricey but I'll keep an eye on used one.
I got this Street Cube for $150 locally and it's almost new, around 6 months old.
I'm using it for guitar practice and karaoke with kids at home so it's way loud than needed.
No plan to ever busk.

Honestly, none. They have all been greatly surpassed in the last few years.

Which part "surpasses" the EX?

Question

I have owned the Mobile and still own the EX. I have played through the Micro and Street. The Street is enough for many chores like busking or even playing small coffee shops as mentioned. The Mobile was light and sounded thin and toy-like to me. The Micro has the best tones (not volume, TONE) for electric guitar (IMO only).

The EX is gig capable. Many battery powered rigs sound better at Acoustic & vocal only, but I do not know of anything that does electric modeling, acoustic and vocals better for the size or cost (& yeah, ain't cheap).

There are other alternatives (battery powered speaker, modeling pedal, speaker w/external power source) etc, that sound better - but none are as portable or versatile as the Street EX IME.

Perhaps Necrome knows something I don't. If so, I will anxiously await his/her answer as to units that "surpass" the EX.
