I like the cherry red top on the Guild, as well. I like it when the colors of 1950’s cars and early 60’s Fender electrics get put onto acoustic guitars.

So I think we can all agree that Bruce here needs to buy a car in that color, as well as a Tyrolian hat and lederhosen in that exact same shade of red.

Then when he gets done with his workday in Australia, that way when he relaxes after a hard day’s kangaroo-wrassling and puts some shrimp on the barbie, he can kick back and play his twelve string in a color-coordinated way while the food cooks.

Hey, it works for me!

Just noticed I spelt 'guitars' wrong ... twice!

The nice people over on the Guild forum tell me that red color was only made by the Corona factory for one year - 2002. Unfortunately this was also the era when Fender installed new finishing booths at the plant and they experienced some teething problems and some structurally perfect guitars suffered from faulty finishes - this is one of them.
