Dunno fer sure bu it looks German/Czech to me.
In the region once called Sudatenland many luthiers made guitars like this and many made 2the same model for a brand or retail chains.

How does it sound? Is it solid wood or ply? Cool looking for sure. Is the bridge really tall or is it a photo illusion?

sound good, yes it is really tall but string hight is ok, i dont know is it solid wood

It has the Gibson Headstock knock off, so it's a few years old. Maybe late 60's early 70's ?
It's also a zero fret.

Its very possibly a Glazbala, made in Croatia. In particular, the shape of the bridge is their distinctive shape. You can see another model here:

Note the f-holes, the headstock shape, and (as mentioned) the bridge. The fret markers also appear similar.

Do a Web search for "Glazbala archtop" and you'll find some more information.
