For Sale: *SOLD* Bourgeois Slope D BK - Baggs Anthem - Stunning Bearclaw & Figured Mahogany

For sale is a Bourgeois Slope D Banjo Killer with a stunning bearclaw Sitka spruce top and figured mahogany back and sides, fitted with an LR Baggs Anthem pickup. Really nice figured Ziricote fingerboard and bridge, too. I slightly prefer my Bourgeois Fully Torrefied D and therefore this one must go. It's in excellent condition, near mint with the exception of some small headstock imperfections due to a string winder. Setup is excellent with minimal relief, plenty of saddle left to work with, and action right around 6/64" and 5/64" at the 12th fret.

Outstanding tone and projection from this one, it's a flatpicking monster yet has a very sweet tone. I've never played a Sitka topped guitar this loud, so whatever magic Dana Bourgeois is injecting into these things, it's working.

1 23/32" nut, 2.2" bridge spacing, full scale. Super comfortable neck which feels like a very shallow V to my hands. Feel free to reach out with any questions, concerns or trade offers.

Fantastic guitars. My Banjo Killer can be a loud guitar with amazing tone. However, it is equally amazing when played quietly. Someone is going to get a very special guitar, here.
