Just one at a time for me. This is my third, a Robert Cray hardtail that's a couple years old. I had a mid-70s strat I bought used in 1979 for $400 that I had for about 25 years. It was nothing special but it was my only electric guitar. I hadn't been playing for a long time and I sold that one at some point along the way and when I got back into playing a lot about 2 1/2 years ago, it didn't take me long to realize I had to have another strat. Had a classic player 50's I liked for a short period, but then found this Cray and pretty much fell in love with it. I've never been one to use a tremolo so I'd blocked them in the past - this one eliminates that issue. And it just sounds kind of darker and bluesy, but stratty as all get out. May or may not be my last strat, but I'm not gassing for anything different. Pretty much stock, but I combined the neck and bridge pickup on the first tone knob and I have no-load pots on both tone controls. It's a combination that works for me.

I have two other electrics, a roadworn tele and an Epiphone 339 with P90s. I love 'em all, but if I had to limit myself to one, this would be the one. I've just always been a strat guy - I think it's in my DNA...

I've always loved the notion of a hardtail Strat, but have never owned one. This is a beauty, Ray.

From Leo's later company, a 1999 G&L S-500:

This was a custom build: swamp ash body, light birdseye maple C shaped neck with rolled shoulders, rosewood fingerboard.

A pair of American Specials. A recently upgraded 2016 and an original 1997 Hendrix VooDoo strat.

85 E Series Squier. I’d read that these were made during the period when Fenders were manufactured in Japan.

If I understand it correctly all Fenders and Squiers of this era were produced in the same factory. Using many of the same materials. Some received Fender decals. Others received Squier decals.

This is THE nicest playing, sounding, and feeling Strat that I’ve owned. And I’ve owned a lot of them. Usa, Mexican...this one has outlasted them all.

All original (*except pickup covers and backplate as I didn’t care for the aged pieces. Although I still have them). I do have the System One hard tailed. It’s one sweet Strat.

I recently purchased a Fender Stratocaster Player Series with a humbucker in the bridge. I replaced the neck with a custom Warmoth Roasted Maple Neck with Pau Ferro fretboard and stainless steel frets. The v-shaped neck is called an Eric Clapton shape. Love the way this guitar plays and sounds. Just wish it was a hardtail.

1983 Hardtail Stratocaster. Bought it about a year ago, without trying - took the word of a reputable shop, that it was in great shape. It was. They set it up for my choice of strings, before shipping. The neck is still a bit of a departure for me: slim V profile and that 7 point something fretboard radius.

35th Anniversary Strat. 2nd or 3rd series from the Fender Custom Shop about 1989.

Then I had to get a 40th Anniversary Strat to go with it... Only 1954 of them made, which is my birth year.

Lots of nice ones above!
This is my (bought used) '60 NOS Custom Shop strat (2007). Great guitar. (Amazing too the resonance it has when you strum it unplugged.)

Here's my 40th Anniversary Stratocaster in Carribean Mist Green. About as close to mint as you'll find with factory red label case. One of my favorite electric guitars! Lines are a reflection from the siding on the house. Plays like a dream.

Here's another picture in the sun.
