Default Tried a Taylor 614 with the torrefied top

It was really nice and warm, and Maple too! Really liked this guitar

I've come around to Maple too. Works really well especially on bigger guitars for me.

In 2016 I played my first re-voiced 614 and was blown away at how non-Taylor it sounded. I played 2 others in different shops before I pulled the trigger and bought one. It is my first Taylor and I never thought I'd own one. It has great balance but delivers a low end thump that still surprises me after nearly 4 years of playing it. Mine is a keeper.

I have two 614's, for exactly the same reason as you all.
