Being a native of Mobile, Alabama, I love it! I think I was 8 years old when Bobbie Gentry recorded the original.

Whoa! That was great Eric! I'm always amazed at the range of tones which you create on that guitar. It's truly a "bouquet" of wondrous stuff!

Really tasteful groovy playing, you must be the best advert for Alaska Piks on Youtube.

And those pinch harmonics made me smile, if this was the 80s you'd be dive bombing them with a Floyd Rose Tremolo :-)

I always really enjoy you interpretations Eric and this was no exception. And to echo someone else the sound of the guitar is captured wonderfully. Mr. Hoover might want acquire that recording from you for marketing purposes!!
