Boss RC300 Rhythm On Off Foot Switch?

Hi All,

Is there a way to turn your rhythms on and off with a foot switch? Bending over to push the button with my finger is clumsy at best. It seems the only way I could do this is to record a phrase of the rhythm I want on a track, then start that track, then use the other tracks for recording musical phrases. Any other solutions?

Also, is this the best discussion group for talking about loopers?
