Default Neil Young Live 1997

Wonderful concert I'm listening to this morning on Youtube. He plays with guitar pickup and miced. Seems to be playing mostly with his fingers, strumming and picking. I'm enjoying some of the songs selected from Silver and Gold, one of my favorite Neil Young acoustic albums. Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWJoh5YUUyM:)

That was really enjoyable. I live within a couple hours of where the Bridge School Benefit concerts took place, and I really regret never making it to one.

Great timing on this Neil Young thread! I was about to start one myself, but will just add to this one. Hopefully that's okay.

Neil and The Promise of the Real, the band with Lukas and Micah Nelson (Willie's sons), stopped in Indy a couple of nights ago on their way to Farm Aid.

Neil still puts on a great show. They played for 2+ hours. They could have played another 2 hours and still not hit all of the songs people wanted to hear. Here's the set list if anyone is interested.

It was so good to see him live again!

Here are a couple of videos (not mine) from the show.

I think that Lukas Nelson and PotR have helped to inspire Neil's live shows. They're a solid band, and Neil and Lukas play really well off of each other.
