CUPS
Having beaten labels to death, as a subject, we might turn our attention to something more substantive, like cups.
I think my nephew now has 20-some Emerald cups, stacked in some closet. I have three drifting around and found that I can only use one at a time (unless I'm having soup). There could be options: Plates, saucers, bowls, and so forth. Or maybe a way cool label in clay, something small and classy that could be hung on the wall--Something generic representing Emerald. I'm in my cups, presume you may share the moment, and look forward to contradictions, arguments, and alternatives. |

You say "cup," I say, "mug." Po-tay-to, po-tah-to. So, are you looking to collect a place setting? I think Kramster would have a service for 16 by now.
Instead of putting a plate or a plaque on the wall, I have my Emeralds there... and take 'em down daily for play time. Not a contradiction nor an argument. The mug is a great lagniappe... a fun gift from my favorite guitar makers that I enjoy with a hot chocolate every morning. My preference is for them to keep making great guitars. Speaking of which - how are you and that new custom Emerald getting along?

SV: So wait...you have 2 CH PAs?
JF: Yep. SV: Don't they sound exactly the same being carbon fiber and all? JF: Uh-huh SV: ...I don't understand. JF: This one goes to 11. SV: oh...okay

If I get a third one call the guys in white with the nets. I am using the second one for string experiments at the moment. The shipping performance of Sweetwater has gone to hell in this lock down... The CO seems a little brighter and maybe a little louder (probably just the tone) than the CH. The CO is waiting for the Martin Retros to showup.

And let us not forget the 4 Cargos days of Kramster's youth.
But I draw the line at 19 :~). 20 requires professional help.

Jon;
I wonder of The Kramster has 4 CA cups? Having 24 cups is quite a burden--as a generous person he would probably be willing to pass some out to the cupless. |

All kidding of course Jon. I think you will like the Retros, glorious on the Shorty and great on their dreads too.

I've heard that the memory goes first. But then again, I've heard of other things that go first. You hear everything.
At 77, I'm finding that just about everything goes. The trick is to avoid that darned apex; level things out, make some room for future decay. Fortunately, my nephew appears to be at an early stage--he's apparently forgotten how to count. I'll try to keep him straight. Fortunately, most of his guitars have only 6 strings, easy to remember. |

Some of you may have Emerald guitars BC, before cups (what the captain calls "mugs." Some of you may have broken your Emerald cups. I have a spare--first PM with an address gets it mailed.
