Exclamation 414 CES GLOSS Imbuia !!!

My local dealer just got one of these in...... Wow, what a knockout. If I wasn't already Taylor poor, it would have came home with me.
He has it for an extremely good price.. (lowest I've heard of)
E-mail me if you want more info. Regards, Don

can you describe the tone relative to others? I've always wondered about imbuia.

I thought it sounded very woody and open. When I compared it to the 414RCES back and forth (rosewood, then embuia, and then back and forth) The rosewood was tighter but not as open sounding.
I have an 814 and a 514, and the Imbuia is more open sounding than either of them, (to my tin ear) It would have come home to my house,,,,,,,,, but... Lisa liked the RCES (rosewood) better. And just because it was going to be HER guitar, she got the deciding vote... (But I would have got the embuia)
It certainly is gorgeous in gloss.... (maybe I can still .......... NO, NO, NO... I can't get another guitar.. )

That would be a reflection from the flash.

Hmmm... third picture down, that's an awfully tight line to be a flash issue. I'm not saying your incorrect, it's just a little peculiar from what I can see. Eh, who knows, camera images do funny things sometimes when they're compressed into pixels.

Things that make me go "hmmmmmm..."

PS- Looking at it again, may be a reflection of a ceiling tile or corner...

No problem.

I'm sure it's too late, but he does also have a 410 Imbuia in stock as well and at the 'Summer Strummer' price.
