sorry for the late reply! I bought a Buck - boost converter, and a USB cable and a 9v cable, and soldered all these together.
next, I just needed to tune the output of the Buck-boost to output a steady 9.02v.. that's all really.. |

This is a great thread, lots of useful info.
I was looking for parts to make my own powerbank for my pedal board when I saw an add for an APC backup UPS. It has two 3 prong outlets and comes with a removable power pack. I figure I can get at least 6 or 7 hours out of it per charge which is plenty. The best part? I was on sale for $100 off. I'll report back once I give a thorough test |
