I can only imagine he knew they were going to give it to him. If it was a spontaneous thing, I think there might have been a few explatives associated with it!

He wasn't surprised, but it doesn't matter. It's a great video. I went to the Memphis factory once and saw them making the 335s, but of course, I didn't get to watch one guitar go through the whole process. So I enjoyed the vid.

I've had my Gibson ES-335 since 1978, so it was very cool to see the process of building one! What a fun video!

His cherry finished 335 came out looking really great!
