Default NGD - a 50 year dream realized...

Ever since I first saw the Beatles back in the 60s, I've been captivated by Rickenbacker guitars. I first got to scratch the itch about 11 years ago, when I bought my first, a 650D. However, while I love it dearly, it was never the one I *really* wanted - that, of course, was a semi-acoustic 12-string, but at the time, I just couldn't stretch the budget that far.

Finally, everything came together, and this beauty arrived a couple of days ago. I think I enjoy just looking at it as much as playing it, and I've been doing lots of both. I'm a lucky man

Thanks, James - yes, nothing says Rickenbacker 12-string quite like that opening Hard Day's Night chord... (or a reasonable facsimile thereof )

Em? James, the chord you're thinking of sounds best when the guitar is double bound.

Nice Rick, David!

Nice!

And just in case you haven't heard Randy Bachman's nifty Hard Day's Night explanation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvxPc5MPEuQ

Love the Rics and that's a beauty.

I've had a few and really don't know why I ever sold them.

Nice! I'd love a 360/6 or a 650D.

The only bad thing about the 360 (and other models) is the temptation to buy another amp just to experience ric-o-sound
