Tin man wasn't able to join us this year but we are counting on his smile reaching out to us in 2023!

And... before I add pictures that have not yet come in Tim and I want to thank the many AGF family members who have been a great blessing to join us in the McKnight Guitar reunions we refer to as the McKnight McJam.

There were a few McJammers who showed up at church, too!

Secret messages were left on the board - be still my heart

Teri won the McKnight Aquarius guitar. She's learning to play already. Impressive girl, she is!

Because we are all 15 years older than we were when we started the McJams I really did have this McJam better planned but there were more people than Tim and me involved in getting the McJammers from the food trucks to the McJam open mic area with comfort. The problem is we got the golf cart call to late on Friday to have the time to go get it. The cart man was closed on Saturday. To make this not such a frustration to your luthier and his wife we hopped on "The Blue Thingy" and took a 20 mile ride on local back roads to enjoy the breeze, the sunshine and to talk about next years plans of ordering things more than a month in advance so you, too, can enjoy this little gem at the 2023 McKnight McJam #16.

Kinda OT, but those pictures of me are motivating me to get back to the gym. Oy! I look like I swallowed my chin!

If Neil wants to use these marvelous photos from the McJam as motivation to hit the gym, then that's all good and fine. But these photos only served to remind me how much I missed being at this year's McJam with so many fine people I've come to know and appreciate over the past decade-plus. A special shout out to Nancy and Bruce for their 'perfect attendance' (something every professor appreciates)! Hope to see everyone at McJam Sixteen.

You were certainly missed Kurt. Several folks enquired about your absence. Hope to see you next year if not before!

Yes, Kurt. What you said. The new and old folks missed you, too.

Just so I don't get into trouble I will add that Rodger also is the other one who has had 15 years perfect attendance. These three people got trapped into being worker bees on day one and have not yet been dismissed.

The food trucks sure released a lot of stress for the search of kitchen help. Friday was a great steak day for the meat eaters. Saturday was light lunch and fu-fu coffee. I don't know how many cups of coffee a girl should have in a day but like Neil, I think hitting the gym is one decision I might need to look into. We know I won't but it sounds as if I am giving better health an effort.

Kurt - 2023 is coming. Plan ahead, but due to the June heat this year Tim is debating on a later date next year. I'll be in touch.

You're filling me with ideas Mary. I don't want to rock the boat but I'll write a few down and send you an email. FWIW I really liked how things went this year, though things seemed to wrap up early on Saturday.

PS, I missed you too Kurt. I hope all is well with you and yours.

Yes, things were great, but we were done way to early on Saturday. Never before has that happened. It might have something to do with the lack of need on clean up of the patio. With food trucks supplying the meals the kitchen crew had time to sit and chat. Yet, the clean up crew and our regular chat circle clan were ...shall I say ... tired? Are we that old? The men had all the tables and chairs returned to the fire department early. I stepped out on the patio and everything was gone! Adrianne's teen crew came over and cleared the tables in a flash. The blessing in all this is that cleanup really was easy. The "old man" who lives here really appreciated the swiftness of the attendees assisting in the help of putting all the supplies and the guitars away.

Thank you. Thank you all for attending and for being part of the McKnight crew.

And later we noticed the waffle supplies were taken. Bagels are Tim's substitute. It's not the same but I guess that was sufficient.

Last year Tim cleaned the car windows for Bruce and Nancy on Sunday morning. We had a "real" service to attend so our extra home time service as a send off Sunday morning had lacked.

If more aftermath pictures come through I think I can remember how to share them.
