IÂ’m the second owner. ThereÂ’s a reason you donÂ’t see a lot of these for resale. This, along with the H&D Dread Road series, is one of the best sounding guitars IÂ’ve ever played.

Overall very clean, no dings, scratches etc.

Although thereÂ’s not much bling to this the Kluson-style Gotoh tuners are my favorite looking tuners on the market and pair well with this guitar

Comes with a great textured arch top hard case

Huss and Dalton Description and specs:

The Road Series is a more affordable take on the beautiful custom guitars made by Huss and Dalton. The only real difference is the Satin finish they use on the back/sides and peghead. Still hand made by the some of the finest luthiers in the world! Sitka Spruce top over Indian Rosewood back and sides.

More Specs:
Flat top construction
Sitka spruce top with Ivoroid rosette
Indian rosewood back and sides
Black body binding with black/white/black top purfling
Unbound fingerboard with pearl dot inlay
Rosewood fingerboard, bridge and peghead veneer
Traditional peghead shape

Bone nut and saddle
Ebony bridge pins
Tortoise pickguard
Matte finish on back and sides and neck
Gloss finish on top

Body dimensions

Body Depth- 4 1/8 inches
Scale- 24.9 inches
Soundhole- 3 7/8 inches
Body Width- 15 inches

What a beauty! Recently acquired a short scale 12 fret 000. My favorite size n shape and it’s an H and D. Should make somebody really happy.

These are great guitars folks! I have the OM version of this guitar, and I can assure you they are ALL Huss and Dalton without the high price. Pretty much the only difference in the road series is the matte satin finish (which I personally prefer) and a rosewood fretboard / bridge.

Key of B#, I'm starting not to like you - first you list the Dread Road Series to tempt me, and now this little 12 fret road series beauty! I didn't even know they made this model in the Road Series - thought they only did dreads and OM's! I'm trying to pare down my instruments, and you throw this baby out there - you're killin me!

Somebody buy this quickly, before I'm tempted to break my moratorium on guitar purchases! Best of Luck on your sale!

Haha, my apologies— but you know you could always use one more…

Key, do you know if this is from the limited run in 2012 or the small run in 2017? If the serial number is in the mid 3000's, it would be 2012 and if it'd in the mid to high 4000's, it would be the later run.

I believe it’s the 2nd run. I’ll snap a pic and load it up when I get home later tonight

Key: Thanks - that serial number would make it a 2018, most likely near the end of the small run between 2017-2018. Good Luck with the sale - I'm resisting right now, but just barely!

Why resist when you can make an irresponsibly satisfying decision? [emoji4]✌️

Thanks

It's those irresponsible decisions that get me in trouble - but they sure are fun!

Just a heads up: You have the nut listed as 1 23/32 under construction specs and then @ 1 3/4" under body dimensions. My OM version is 1 23/32, so not sure if the 000 is the same, or comes with the slightly wider 1 3/4"

From what Husson Dalton told me, the road series specs mirror that of the full-fledged more expensive identical counterparts, just with less bling.
