Brook Torridge. Englemann spruce over Guatemalan mahogany. Rosewood binding. Ebony fretboard, bridge, headstock plate. 44mm nut, 24.75" scale. 00 size. Mint condition. Handmade in England. A beautifully built and sounding guitar. Photos are on Reverb, or feel free to contact me for those or any additional information. $2,670.00 + shipping at cost. Includes Hiscox case. Would consider trade for the right 14 fret, 00, 000, or close, all mahogany. Note: The video is not this guitar. It's the Torridge they had at the time at Shoreline. There's another one on their website of Dennis Wakeman playing a Torridge also. That's the one that got me...

Are you sure the nut width is 1 3/4"? Unusual for Brook.

Thank you fitness 1 for the link, and the nut is 44 mm, so yes, essentially 1 3/4".

What is the string spacing at the saddle?

Looks like the twin to my 2013. Mine has the narrower fingerboard - would rather 1-3/4" but I have adapted nicely. Mine is Sitka over mahogany - the mahogany is some that was salvaged from a batch of doors from the council offices in Exeter about 15 years ago. Wonderful guitars - good luck with your sale!

Not exactly. it's 1.73 which is almost the same as my Gibson J-45 (1.72). Not saying that's good or bad but you can tell the difference.

String spacing at saddle is 2 3/16" or a hair less, parallel to the bridge. Center of low E to center of high E. Andy or Simon told me in an email that mine is Guatemalan mahogany, but no other detail about that. Here it is.
Good to hear from you, glad you like the Torridge. That video on the site was taken way back. All very embarrassing at the time! I’m pretty sure the serial number is 611110 unless I mislabelled it (not too unusual!). We made that guitar for Gerry Parkhurst in Washington. Check out the November News 2016 on our site and see if it’s your guitar on there. The serial number reads backwards so your guitar is the first (or second!) guitar we completed in November 2016. It has Guatemalan mahogany back sides and neck, Engelmann spruce top, ebony fingerboard bridge and head veneer, with rosewood body binding. |

Sorry, it's a 2016. Got mixed up with a different guitar.
