I loved watching the birds but watching his left hand and some of those stretches made my hand hurt.

He’s the only player apart from some of the old school still alive that I have any time for.
And a fascinating free thinker, who will if you befriend him on social media engage with you. A breath of fresh air for me. |

Brilliant! Almost like a cross between Leo Kottke and Andrew York.

Been a fan of his for a very long time, ever since he arrived with a bang on Candyrat ten years ago. I have only had the chance to see him live once. The guy is just a machine - but a tuneful one! Check out his official youtube channel, where you can also download lots of free tabs and backing tracks: as well as being a genius he is very generous. At one time he was giving away lots of album downloads - awe-inspiring stuff. I just checked his website and you can still download the bonus tracks from one of his early albums. He seems to be able to do most styles - checkout the version of 'Turkey In The Straw' in the aforementioned zip file. Where he excels, though, is on classical pieces: he has done some wonderful Paganini.
