Default "These Days" by Jackson Brown Tab?

Does anybody know where I can find a tab of this song as he played it on his live acoustic album?

I am looking for the finger picking patterns, not the chords.

Hi Brock,

Great live version, isn't it? And to think he could write lyrics with such substance in his teens....amazing. Would appreciate the tab as well. If it's not available online, I'll just tab it out myself and send it to you. Been wanting to learn it for some time anyway

P.S. I think one of the more distinctive chordal signatures of that version is the Fmaj7 chord at the end of the descending C-Am/G baseline (where the high F note is replaced with an open E). To me it gives the song a very unresolved feel, perfectly mirroring the lyrical content.

Yeah, I am totally addicted to that entire album.

If an existing one doesn't turn up somewhere that would be great if you would send me a copy if you tab it.

Hey Brock,

I hadn't heard this song before. It's very beautiful. If you haven't seen this on youtube, it may help. It shows his right hand several times.

Good luck.

David

P.S.: I've seen your guitars at Healdbsurg but haven't yet taken one for a spin. Next time.

Hey Brock -

Acoustic Guitar magazine had the tab for it a while back. It was an issue that had Jackson Browne on the cover. I wish I could remember the month and issue. I'll check and see if maybe I have it hanging around. If so, I may be able to copy it and send you an email with it. If I find it I'll get back to you.

You do realize that that would necessarily entitle me to a discount on your instruments, right?

Hey Brock -

I did happen to find this magazine with the tab in it if you are still looking for it. If you still need it, let me know and I'll try to scan it into my computer and email it to you in the next day or two.

Not meaning to jump on any bandwagon here, but Brock, if you happen to get the tab for this, I would really love it if you could send me a copy. Love this album, and These Days is one of my favorites.

This thread got me thinking about a thread I posted some time ago regarding some type of repository on the AGF where people could post tab and share with others - maybe there are some legal issues - but it seems that requests for tab come up quite a bit on the AGF and it would be great to have a place where one could share and find tab easily. I know that www.banjohangout.com has a great tab repository on their site.........

Any thoughts?

Here was my initial thread.............which had no responses......

Fully meaning to jump on the bandwagon, I'd love to see the tab as well. I put the album back into the rotation in my car's CD, and I can't get enough of it.

David, thanks for the Youtube link. I didn't realize how much of the early stuff is on video/film. It would be so cool if he could release a "video anthology" of sorts, but I doubt he owns the rights to a lot of the early footage.
