I'll fix the pic links tomorrow when I have access to a real computer. Until then let's keep this LeGeyt character under the radar so we can appreciate his guitars! I was playing my brz clm for a few hours last night and loving every minute of It. I cannot wait to see what the parlour will be like!

I'll second that comment. I also like the fact there is no binding on the bottom. The transition with the Koa sides is very well executed; Burton's joinery and workmanship are first class on this build (this is likely the understatement of the year )

I'm curious about the super thin soundboard binding. Where did the inspiration for that come from? Looking forward to seeing this in person at the Woodstock show.

Thanks guys,

I'm so happy with how it looks, the koa is really great. I hope many of you can see it at Woodstock. Its been a long process and stressful- I'm doing lots of stuff for the first time on this guitar. And it still isn't done. I'm a few days away from having the tuners and pegs functional and installed. Then I can sleep a little better at night.

Ryan, Lots of the old guitars have really small binding, almost square in profile. I love the look and have been slowly making mine smaller on all builds. for this one I went a little further and the addition of the maple line on the bottom makes it look smaller still. I think, though, that it fits well here. Big binding would look chunky on that small body.

Here is another of the headstock in progress- Working on the landing ledge and how much to curve/chamfer the inner walls.

I think the thinner binding looks great. Especially for this guitar, as you mentioned.

This guitar gets sicker and sicker! I cannot fathom the coolness of this headstock.
